Wedding Do's and Don'ts

There are definite things you should and shouldn't do for your wedding. Follow these basic do's and don'ts to make sure this is the most fabulous wedding ever.

1. Don't. Allow your bridesmaids to wear white. It is not good for the bridesmaids to wear white because the photography is not going to be flattering; and many people will probably have something to say about it too. Most traditional families believe that white is reserved for the bride herself and no one else.

2. Do. Make extra food for your wedding guest. It is always better to have enough than not enough. So make sure the caterer has prepared extra.

3. Do. Wear comfortable shoes. Most weddings last longer than an hour or so and your feet will be killing you.

4. Don't. Cut your hair the day before the wedding. If you don't like your haircut then it is too late to do anything about it. Chances are others will notice it too.

5. Do. Schedule a day before the wedding to have the makeup artist do your makeup, to make sure that she knows exactly what you want. If she overdoes it or puts it own weird, than it will be difficult to take it off the day of the wedding.

6. Do. Make sure your wedding party matches. You don't want someone with the wrong shoes on or the wrong color in the wedding party. So have a dress rehearsal to make sure everyone matches.

7. Don't. Change the date of the wedding several times. People will start to get frustrated if they ask off for Friday and the Wedding ends up being on Saturday.

8. Do. Leave something to the imagination. It is good to have something left secret. Make your family wait to see the dress or the flowers at the wedding. Just dont let your family and friends know and see everything before the wedding because nothing will be a surprise to them.

9. Don't. Overeat before the wedding date. You don't want to gain extra pounds or look boated the day of the wedding.

10. Do. Have backups to fill in. If Aunt Susie can't serve at the wedding, make sure you have someone in mind that can fill in for her.
